Let's join together today to enhance the resources that our community has to offer those who most need our help. About the Highlands Gold Course - The Highland Park Golf Course is rated as the best golf course in Birmingham by the Birmingham News. Clubs have been striking the ball at this course since 1903, when the course first opened its doors as the Country Club of Birmingham. This is the site of Bobby Jones first victories as a golfer. This championship-style golf course still sparkles from a 1998 restoration by the renowned architect Bob Cupps.
